International students who are successful in being offered self-funded admission onto research studies at University of Ulster will be required to do the following before any visa documentation can be issued:
1- Pay a non-refundable deposit of £2000, this amount will be deducted from your tuition fees
2- Provide us with your bank statement showing that you have sufficient funds in your account to cover the first year's tuition fees (minus the deposit amount), plus £7500 for living expenses. This bank statement must come from a UK Border Agency recognised bank, further details on these banks can be found here.
